The Brief
Sparks Ellison have been a valued client at unite form for many years and we have worked with them on three iterations of their website in recent years. The brief for the 2008 re-launch was to clearly position Sparks Ellison as a leading estate agency and remind clients that they offer the personal touch and impeccable customer service.
The Approach
When we began the website re-design we discovered that the Sparks Ellison brand was in need of a re-fresh if it was to help reposition the company in the eyes of its customers. As such, we produced a slightly revised logo, stationery and external fascia to ensure that all aspects of the company carried the same branding.
To achieve a softer, more personal image we completely changed the look and feel of the website, leading with humorous cartoon characters and a warm background graphic. The copy-tone was completely changed and added an element of humour to the site to convey Adam and Mark’s individual personalities.
In addition, the content of the site was significantly ‘beefed-up’ to include top of the range industry features including mortgage calculators, industry comment, RSS feeds, property of the week and Google mapping.
We also produced a new brochure to conclude the set of collateral.
The Outcome
The new site has witnessed increased traffic and enquiry volumes from customers and has been a huge hit with vendors and buyers alike. As the property market tightens, a strong website will be even more important to convey credibility and success; we feel the new Sparks Ellison website is the perfect platform for this.
