Banham Locks, the award-winning home security company, has commissioned unite form to develop an eCommerce facility that will allow its customers to buy its products online for the first time.
The new website is part of the Banham's strategy to achieve greater brand recognition outside the company's core customer base of SE England - it is already the largest supplier of domestic security systems in London. While the brand has enjoyed impressive visibility in the capital, it anticipates the new website helping to expand its target audience geographically.
Banham's customers will be able to purchase its distinctive locks on the web for the first time from the completion of the project in the summer; to date, customers could only buy via authorised resellers and Banham stores.
Martin Herbert, Director at Banham Locks, said:
"Banham Locks has developed a brand reputation for burglary prevention that is unsurpassed in London and the South East. However, we now want to develop the brand across the country and view the extension of the brand offering into online sales as a key component of what our customers expect from us.
"In unite form we have found a company with fresh ideas and proven delivery expertise in the eCommerce market. They impressed us with portfolio of work and innovation, we are confident they will develop a website that is a commercial success - and of course, secure".
